I use skytell numeric and vm, AT&T cell phone w/vm, and carry a laptop for e-mail as well as run excel and word.
Question, can I use the visor for all the above? Do I have to change modules for phone and paging capabilities? Which visor should be utilized? How many pic's w/digital cam can be taken? I'm tring to condence all these features.

I think VisorPhone can cover all of your needs, but note it's $299. (I think w/out swapping-out modules; but maybe someone who owns one/is more know. can ans.)
Excel & Word work w/an app. (QuickOffice?) that's $39, I think. Best WP app. is likely WordSmith ($29 lim. time; then $39, I think).
You can prob. find these on PalmGear HQ.
Today, prob. the best value is the Platinum ($299), but the Deluxe ($249) is almost identical (O.S. 3.5 is prob. the biggest diff.)
If you want color, the Prism ($449) is 64k color (and 0.S. 3.5) ... and I don't think I can remember ANYONE ever stating they weren't happy w/it. (I think the "paint on the casing smudges" problem is a thing of the past.)

Get the EyeModule2 ($199) instead of EM1 ($150, and sometimes rebates), as its abilities are much greater. I think the 2 sizes are 35kb for Visor-sized snapshots; and 100k-200k (people have posted that it "varies"; I don't presently own one) for 640x480.
The mini-movies are DEADLY HUGE, though -- like 2Mb for 5 SEC!

SO DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CHECK OUT THE RECENT CF MEM. SBs ($39 + $10 for the FileMover SW) that have recently been created by some of our more sophisticated users, if you intend to shoot any amount of mini-movies.

I'd wait a week or 2, though, as the new Palm V color ver. is due -- w/O.S. 4.0.
HS may "adopt" 4.0 right away in new Visors.
(I guess it depends on their Lic. Agmt. w/Palm.)
