Exclamation Daily Jounal - Truncation

Hello....

I type a daily work and personal jounral on my VLP. How long can it be before it will be cut off or truncated. I use Palmdesktop 4

Will the entry journal stay on the desktop if not viewed on handspring?

Thanks

I don't know what a VLP is but my user's guide for my VDX and Prism both say that Memos only hold 4000 characters and notes attached to ToDo's or Daily Journals can be up to several thousand characters. Not sure what that means exactly but I can tell you I have made some pretty long notes and I have only filled it twice. I track project status with on-going notes in a single Todo - like a new stamping tool that takes 20 weeks to build. I record all my phone conversations, meeting minutes, timing updates, first off tool evaluation, etc. until the thing goes into production. It is about 130 lines @ 30 characters each, hey that's 4000. Well there's your answer, 4000 either way. That's about 2 full pages at #10 font when I printed it out. I guess I have taken WAY too much time on this one...hope it helps!
