A MASKa perpetual natural disguiser of herself,
Concealing her face, concealing her form,
Changes and transformations every hour, every moment,
Falling upon her even when she sleeps.

Another Visor Haiku (sp?)
In a world of stress
waiting for my new Visor
has taught me calmness.
Ordered in the fall.
Will the snow still be falling
when my Visor comes?
My order is late
but rather than fight HandSpring
calm is my refuge.
Not to get too metaphysical here (too late) but we must remember the four nobel truths of Zen Buddism:
Life is suffering
We must take responsibility for our own suffering
There is a way out of suffering
The way out is the eightfold path to enlightenment.
So, while it's upsetting to have to wait so long in a world where we've come to expect instant gratification we should use this challenge as a way to practice patience. It gives us a chance to practice remaining calm when things don't occur the way we would wish them to. (And patience is something that needs to be learned and practice, it doesn't come naturally).
Oh well, it's only poetry and philosphy. Take what you need from it and leave the rest for the next person.
