Canadian High School

I'm the only person in my high school so far that's using a pda to take notes on. One of my friends is using a laptop in class, but I like my prism and stowaway much more. This fits in my pockets!

I've had no trouble from any of my teachers so far. A few gave me interested looks the first few times I stared typing in class, but nobody seems to mind. The other students don't say much. I've had a few requests for note copies, but I don't think anyone is surprised (I've gotten a bit of a reputation as the "odd techie").

As far as programs go, I can't live without DateBk4, Brainforest or WordSmith and the Stowaway keyboard. Naturally, the 8mb flash module never leaves the slot. Space Trader is my favorite way to kill some time and Teal Echo is great for graffiti work.

mrknowitall!

Your avatar rocks! I used to have one of those calculators when I was like 5, and used to take it apart and put it back together again. I haven't seen one since!

Where in Canada do you go to school? I live in BC and I'm in my first year of college. I've got 4 people in my math class that use PDA.

The way I see it. If you wanna use a computer to take notes in school, it may as well be a PDA coz of it's small siez. Notebooks are nice but they are too large, heavy, and the long boot time ... errr ... really kills me.

Thanks PastaGrrrl. Now we know your age! LOL. Just kidding. I dig your nickname and your design potential.

The Avatar is Texas Instrument's Little Professor (from disco days.) The cool thing about him was that he wasn't the calculator! You were! Talk about a breakthrough Handheld.

Can you say legacy boys and girls? Heh heh.

Happy Thanksgiving

Heh heh heh

I used to have a little professor too! I remember playing it under the covers at night time when I supposed to be asleep!

Ahh you've brought back a lost moment of my childhood.

It kicked Speak and Spell's ass!!!
