Question

Did anyone get an instructon book with their Visor? I got the Deluxe (graphite) and it just came with the Visor, cradle, leather case, and CDs. No book. I find that a little strange considering the size of the Palm III's book. Everyone else get the same stuff?

There was a quick reference guide and that's about it except for a graffiti card two Handspring "stickers" and a blurp on the custom cases. The owner's manual is on the CD as an Adobe Acrobat reader file that also installs to your desktop under the Palm Desktop folder.

The pdf format is more and more common...it just makes sense, since you can print out just oarts you need, the OS is so simple really. We do the same for our customers and we sell imaging software that takes about 3 months to learn. The Visor is usable in an hour...You just saved a few trees.

I kinda figured that was the case. While it's nice to have a book, I doubt I'd even open it. I had a Palm III for a week and the books were still in their shrinkwrap when I returned it.
