Eyemodule2 out of focus at the corners?

I just bought an eyemodule2, the images look out of focus at the corners while the center looks relatively sharp. is this true of all eye2s or just my unit? People with eyemodule2s what are your experiences with image quality? Also, unless holding absolutely steady, the images will blur. what's the shutter speed on this thing?

take a look at the gallery here: http://eyemodule.com/gallery/e2/index.asp

do your images look like that... or worse? is your lense dirty?

the fact is, the em2 does have a a small cheap lense that does result in imperfect focus around the edges, especially at long distances. it's better than many webcams, but not a LOT better.

if you are getting distorion when you dont hold the camera still, you may not have enough light. also, the preview image you see on the visors screen is actually a separate picture taken a split second before the actual picture. so you wont know exactly what the big picture looks like until you upload it.
