probably since that is the first color PalmOS unit...
But there might be some cheaper winCE machines that have color too...

I've been in CompUSA today, playing with all cool PDAs as usual, when suddenly I see a new Casio Cassiopeia
Pocket Manager BE-300 on the stand (which Pocket PC magazine called "A Palm Killer!" by the way), it has
stunningly beautiful screen, STN, that looks much better even compared to iPaq's and Clie's (probably not visible
outside though), you are getting 16 MB or flash ROM, and 16MB of RAM (very little for a Windows CE machine),
Compact Flash Type II slot, Li-ion rechargeable battery (they claim 1 week of use, i seriously doubt it), and it feels
REALLY LIGHT in your hand, especially for WinCE device.
It's priced $299 and if you are not looking for stuffing it with 3rd party programs (and majority of people
don't do it) , I'd say it's an excellent choice, it has a simple interface and nice design, check it out!

How about a Palm m100 withat a new faceplate? You can get just about any color you want.
If you are interested in a color display, get a Palm IIIc for price. But, if you have just a little more money, the Prism is a much better unit.

IIIc for price? it's $299 and so is the Prism, I think this is a no-brainer!

The HP Jornada 525 is selling for $199. It's not a great PDA, but it's pretty damn cheap at that price.

Dang, you're right. I thought that palm had lowered the price on the IIIc again. Oh well, buy a Prism. They are both bricks, but the Prism is a much better brick.
