I ordered a graphite VISOR.. No deluxe for me baby!

I'm 22 if age is going to play another factor.

If anyone has any great arguments why I should change my order from a standard visor to a blue deluxe or so, please email me your thoughts. This is my first PDA btw, so I don't think I'll fill up the 2 meg version. Plus I don't want to drop 260 on one I'll replace in another year with more OS functionality, etc... Thanks

Again, graphite(no real choice with the visor), 22

I ordered blue. I thought it was a bit different than the strate Grey/black but not too cheezy. I also happen to like the color blue :-)
Oh..for demographics...I'm 38

BizEChilD, you have an interesting point on the fact that it may be time to replace the first Visor fairly soon. I thought before that their next product will probably surpass this one by a few degrees. That's probably the most convincing argument against buying the deluxe, but I'm still not giving up my blue Visor........

(don't count this as a vote - already been tabbed)

Well, I've been watching these discussions for about 2 weeks and decided to put my 2 cents in. I ordered my visor 2 days after the announcement. I got Ice. I'm 26 if it matters. Wating for this thing makes me feel like I'm 6 and Christmas is coming in 2 weeks.

Graphite. The other colors offered (except ice) look too schmaltzy and Son-of-iMac for my taste. I prefer earth tones.

Still, I'm glad there's choice in the matter. I never would have guessed how many people would go for the alternatives.

Graphite - They should have offered some solid or metallic colors. Those translucent colors seem to pander to the style over substance iMac crowd.

I ordered Graphite, want to keep low profile, the bright colors may attract to many questions from co-workers who still haven't caught up with the palm tech.

I ordered a Visor Deluxe.

Exclamation

Just changed mine from a standard to a blue deluxe (So drop a graphite and add a blue)

I'd like to thank everyone who mailed me to convince me to get a deluxe opposed to a standard.

Of course it was no one.. too many pictures and rants about 8mb made my switch on my own.. doh

First PDA purchase...gotta go with the corporate Graphite. Blue sounded good until I saw the iMac translucent colors. B^(

Graphite here. I wish the colored ones were more of a solid color and not the see through type plastic.

Cool

Orange, 40, first PDA. Was looking at Palm IIIx with Franklin-Covey software, to replace my 5 pound day planner, but it was priced too high. I was looking online for a discounter when I came across the Visor announcement. It seems to be just what I want. Even with the Franklin software it will still be less than the IIIx. I ordered Orange because I want a color that will really stand out. Assuming that I will ever set the unit down and take my eyes and hands off of it, I want to find it quickly among the growing mounds of beige, black and pewter. I am not too concerned with standing out in a crowd of black PDAs because so few are in use in my company. Just having a PDA will be enough to stand out in the crowd of day-planner huggers.
