EyeModule2/VDx and ThinkDB/Bugme! Messanger

Does anybody try to use ThinkDB/BugMe Messanger on Visor DeLuxe with EyeModule? An integration with that applications was announced which allows to use EM2 pictures. I tried but without success. There are no EM2-related buttons at all. It seems to use ThinkDB/BugMe! PalmOS 3.5 or greater required. Am I wrong?

I have had the same problem with BugMe! Messenger. I have a VDX and a eyemodule2 and I don't see any of the buttons. I purchased BM!M before I got my eyemodule2 with the hope that I could send my photos by email via my Visor but without that capability, I don't think it is nearly as useful.

I tried to to investigate this matter just prior to my vacation. Only solution I found - using EyeModule2 together with EyeMail2 (can be found at www.handango.com) on VDx. Although you can't handwrite on the pictures you can send them via e-mail up to three recipients both as PalmSize or FullSize images.

Another thing: today I received reply from EyeModule support:
"Apparently the Eyemodule will not work with ThinkDB on a visor running Palm OS 3.1. You may want to contact ThinkDB about the minimum requirements to use the Eyemodule and Eyemodule2. FYI I tried the original Eyemodule also on a Visor deluxe and could not get it to work. Both seemed to work fine on the Visor Prism and Platinum.

Thanks for this note. I will probably keep BugMe! Messenger on my VDX but I don't think I will use it as much as I would if it worked with my EM2. I will try out eyemail2. I will also probably still get ThinkDB 2.1 even if I can't get the images to work with it. I keep databases of Io's (a moon of Jupiter) volcanoes and mountains on my VDX using a copy of ThinkDB that I got from my Dad. I need to get the conduit and thus register it so that I can share that database with other Io researchers (the volcano database would help facilitate the identification of hotspots or active volcanoes as seen from earth). It would have been nice to have a small thumbnail picture of each volcano with the database.
