Speaking of conduits...is there a way to eliminate conduits (from the Custom screen of the HotSync Manager) of uninstalled third-party apps?

dequardo, I think dartagnan was saying:

"I've deleted some apps I had installed, but their conduits didn't go away. How can I make those conduits go away?"

Yes, sorry, I mis-read the statement. However, the uninstall process for the app SHOULD also remove the conduit.

If you use the condconf program mentioned in the 'changing ordering of conduits' thread you can delete unused conduits.

For me it actually showed up a number of conduits that weren't being displayed in my custom screen, but when I deleted them my sync'ing time halved.
