Question New models - How long will you wait?

From the rumor mill, it appears that Handspring will not be coming out with color ... high resolution anytime soon.

How long are you will to wait for these features? I, for one, am ready to purchase the Clie within the month if Handspring doesn't let us know what is coming and approximately when.

Hate to leave Handspring, but without an idea of what they are developing, am just about ready to step through the door to the competition!

How about you .. how long are you willing to wait?
1.) 2 weeks
2.) one month
3.) 2 months
4.) 2 months, but ONLY if I know what is coming
5.) Until they ship - I am a die hard loyal customer!

Is this the same high quality rumor mill that gave us the
Handspring Bigfoot and Elvis...er..."Ace" and "Columbia"?

Well, my Platinum is only about 9 months old, so I'll keep it for a while. I'm too young to get a new $300-$400 PDA each year. If I do upgrade (probably a year or so from now) I'll get a Handspring with color. I have too many modules to change companies, and most of them must still be able to work with a new model. Or, I'll keep my Platinum.

Wink

As my momma always said "Good things come to those who wait" Although jumping ship seems to be for the weak at hand, I am waiting for Handspring. I have already sunk a small fortune in cases, styli and springboard modules and I am not about to throw them out just to curb my appetite for the latest and greatest. I'm sure at some point HS wil release new products. And I'm equally sure that they will have all they latest and greatest then. My platinum has looked better but it's working just fine.
