Question

I have a Mac7500...does anyone know: if I add a USB pci board, will the Palm software/hotsync manager recognize the Visor on the USB ports??? I love syncing at work on the G4...USB is so much faster than serial.

Michael.

Angry

It will recognize it, but for me, there is a delay of up to 5 minutes before getting past "Determining Handheld Configuration" and beginning to sync.

Talking

I installed a USB card in my 7300 and it works fine. No delay, fast syncs every time.

I have an Entegra UBS PCI card installed in a PowerBase 240 (Mac clone) and have had no problems with HotSyncing my VDx. I also have a Epson 740 printer sharing the card (and USB connection) so other self powered devices don't seem to affect it.
