I want to use rechargeables on my Visor Deluxe and so Ive tried the .7 shortcut but nothing happend :-(
What I did:
1. new memo
2. shortcut-symbol (appears in memo)
3. point (also appears)
4. 7 (clear line and thats it)
Can anybody help me? Its the same with other shortcuts.

Are you sure you did .7? The proper sequence is:

[tap] [tap] 7

This should scroll through the available battery settings.

On the VPR it just types [Lithium Ion].

At least on the VPR, to get info on the battery you go to the apps launcher, while pressing the "up" button, touch the battery icon.

Question Re: .7 For Battery Options

I Got it To show on my VDx. But Then What Do I Do - what is the next step ?
I use The Recharghable NiMH AAA's. The Option for NiMH is not there (with the .7 easter egg).
- Appreciate Any Suggestions.

Use the setting for NiCAD... they have similar "voltage profiles" to NiMH's...

Question shortcut .1 thru shortcut .9 question

Other than "shortcut .7"; does anyone know what "shortcut .1" thru "shortcut .9" do? Or is there a place I can find out on my own?

I only get one option as well, [ni-cad].

Umm..BTW, DON'T try .1 It made my visor emit a constand beep and not respond to anything until it was soft reset.

The actual documentation for the dot shortcuts are for developers use and can be found here. To join in MarkEagle's warning: Be careful.
