Visor Deluxe has blank screen
I've had my Visor Deluxe for a little over a year and love it. I've endless programs and was considering adding memory. I was up in Vermont during the July 4th holiday and while waiting for my plane Saturday, July 7th to return to New York City, I used my Visor extensively reading from the Palm Reader, playing games, checking calendar appointments, etc.It was working perfectly. When I arrived at LaGuardia I tried to turn it on to get a phone number for a car service and it would not turn on. Since that time, I've changed the batteries twice. I tried to hotsync it. I tried to reset it. I tried to restore it from the backup. Nothing worked at all. I did have a problem with it recently. The tip of the Styllus fell off inside and became lodged in there. So, I bought a new Styllus a few days ago. It wouldn't go in all the way, but I had no problem using it. I took it in RCS where I'd bought it and the saleslady started to unscrew it to remove the styllus section but said she noticed a small crack in the case so she stopped and re-screwed it. It worked fine after that time.
I've sent 2 e-mails to Handspring customer care about the problem, but have received no response as yet. I'd like to Fedex it to them for a quick repair, if that's possible, but await their response to my e-mails.
If I get no response, I'm thinking of buying a new one and then trying to hot-sync it to get my data back. I'm not sure how to do that or if I will attempt it, but I'll decide soon.I am desolate withit out as I depend on it a lot.
