Just my two cents worth...

I've come to notice that if the Hot Sync "Custom" dialog is on screen when a sync is invoked, the sync just "hangs". If I close the Custom dialog quickly, the sync begins, otherwise I get a sync time-out error.

Having tried InstallBuddy, its version of the Custom dialog (the main IB window) doesn't seem to hang the sync if displayed.

Maybe there's something about the regular Hot Sync program?... And I'm wondering if others who are having sync problems are having them with Custom open?
