Visors in hazardous sites

I work for an outfit that regularly deals with hazardous sites. There are numerous restrictions in some of the installations I work in all for the sake of safety.

Electronic instruments we use must have be rated "Intrinsically Safe" (by the FCC, I think). I already find my Platinum an invaluable tool in the non-restrictive areas I have been in since I bought it. I will soon be working in a restrictive site again and would like to use the Visor in it.

Does anyone know if the Visors have been tested for "intrinsic safeness" and where can I get a copy of the certificate?

Only Handspring knows for sure... You should contact them and see if they can help.
