For all the new Visor owners who come to this site for info, wouldnt it be nice to have an FAQ for remcommended apps to download, and warnings that all new owners should know?

For example, I spent 2 hrs. trying to get the hotsynch working, but then realized that the drivers arent compatible with Windows2000 which i am running... if there were an FAQ that would be helpful.

How about warning people of the danger of the stock stylus, and alternatives/solutions, such as new styli, or putting down some scotch tape on the graffiti pad until they can secure Writerights or other protection solutions before they permanently scratch up the screen.

Maybe some "must have" software that every respectable PalmOS user should have, space permitting, on their organizer. I dont know of any myself, but I bet you guys out there do!

Would anyone be up to the challenge?

You've basically mentioned most of the purpose of this entire discussion site on VisorCentral. All these topics and more have been discussed or are being discussed.. Try doing a search. Hopefully other newbies will do the same.

P.S. Cheers to James Hromadka and Staff!

Yes, but to put the major pts. in one intro FAQ would be great. Then people will know what to search for if they think they want to know more about the topic....
