HAven't had an unofficial demograpihic sence like Nov, 00.

Why do Under 18 only get 1 catogory? It should be <13, 14-18.

I't always cool to see what VC is. In the medai kit ( http://www.visorcentral.com/adintelligent/ ) it tells dmogrphics from a while ago, but I"m sure they've changed as handsprings marketing has changed. I'm postivite there are more women on the board!

Yeah, I know... sorry! I goofed in the 35-44 category, too. I should have used all 10 categories that the polls allow and done something like 0-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-60, 60+.

Oh, well... that is why I am not in marketing!

If you want, we could kill this post and redo it...

Haha! Well by the current poll it looks like we're the second largest group, we must rise up and seize the boards from those who can legally buy cigarettes & "adult" magazines! With our iron fist of vengeance we'll let them know who counts!

Careful, junior! Didn't your parents teach you to respect your elders?

Besides, nothing beats age and experience (except, maybe, four Aces!).

I feel so old.. ok, so I got out of high school 15 years ago, was it really that long ago??? Doesn't seem like it.. It's amazing how much time files when you are having fun.. At least I graduated as one of the younger people in my class.. If not the youngest. Ironically most of my co-workers are 10+ years older than I am.. It's a weird position to be in..

I'm old enough to remember the Eighties with clarity, and young enough not to be nostalgic towards them. The Replacements (I first saw them play live at the U of Houston Lawndale Annex in 1981) were the only thing I brought with me from then (that and my pants size- Thank God!)

PS I seem to have left behind some of my hair though, anybody finding it will get a reward.

As far as I know, britches is a modern corruption of the old-fashioned term breeches. My dictionary (Webster's New Collegiate) lists britches as an alternate spelling, but one must keep in mind that many (if not most) of its alternate spellings are incorrect/archaic/just plain stupid (e.g. supercede). Every spelling bee that I've participated in (and I was in quite a few in my elementary school days -- that's why I know all this crap) has only accepted the first form of a word in the dictionary as being correct.

The bottom line: britches may be correct slang, but hey, adults aren't supposed to be using slang .

Corrupted is one thing, poisoned is another. I dislike bands that forgo their musical dedication in order to gain mass appeal.

I used to think if Mikey liked it, it had to be good. Just remember not to mention you were an NSYNC, BSB, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, etc. fan when you get to high school, okay? By the way, let's define "real artist" as someone capable of writing their own music, as well as performing it.

I guess Paul Westerberg (formerly of The Replacements and now solo) would too. Not only has he always went his own way musically (there is a great story about him and his bandmates stealing their own masters back from TwinTone and tossing them in the river to prevent the label from putting out a "best of" album), he has also bucked convention in that he prefers living and recording in his hometown of Minneapolis instead of NYC or LA.
Whatta nut!
