I bought the plastic Handspring beltclip case and I like it a lot... until the cheap plastic clip broken off and sent my visor bouncing on the ground. But I still like the 'quickdraw' nature of it and so I want to repair it.

I was thinking I could remove the plastic clip from a pager or cellphone and stick it onto my visor case, but I don't know how to get the pin out from these clips. Does anyone have any experience in this or even know how that pin is inserted?

I know I can get one of those glue-on button clips, but I don't want it to swivel, stick out so much, and I plain don't trust the glue.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I intentionally removed the belt clip from my HS case and replaced it with one of those cell phone "buttons" and a belt clip. Actually, the swivel feature is good in my opinion as it allows the case to "give", like when sitting down.

The case is actually very nice. I'd like to see the same thing in reverse, however. Something that will allow use of the Visor WITHOUT removing it from the hardcase.

The "glue" (a 3M adhesive foam) is rated at 10# plus holding power when applied following directions (pretty simple ones). I have them on my cell and BVD (made my own aluminum holster).

If you don't want the swivel or "sticking out" (very minimal) one of the button/clip companies makes a clip that glues on which is just a slide over the belt type of clip. The company makes "The Clip" (see http://www.theclip.com/ ). I found their product at Best Buy.
