Angry

My stylus (not the one that comes with the Visor Deluxe) is scratching my screen (down at the bottom where you write) and I am really worried about my Visor. Do you know if there is a better stylus that will not scratch the screen? Also do you know if there is anyone that can repair the screen on my Visor?

Screen scratches

I feel for ya. I've had some decent scatches on both my previous units. I managed to prolong the life of the screen on my last one by using a plastic Brillo pad to smooth the tip of each stylus right out of the box. I then tested it by drawing a line on some plastic wrap. I also used Post-It notes over the writing sections for a time. This also gave a more natural feeling to the surface. In the end though, I paid the 15 bucks and got some plastic screen protectors. True that they do "Dim" the display a touch, but it saves a lot of aggravation.

Pentopia

I think that scratches on your screen are inevitable unless you use a screen protector. I recently purchased the Pentopia Chameleon stylus and I really like it. It has a spring-loaded tip and it's a thinner point, which makes it easier to write (IMO). It also has a pen, which I use a lot more than I thought I would....and a handy dandy reset pin. Love it. It's cool looking too. I did finally go to using WriteRights because I can't stand scratches on my screen. You just have to live with the sacrifice of quality.
Here's the link to Pentopia:

Good Luck!

I usually put some scotch tape on the graffiti area. It makes it feel more like paper, and it protects it too. Every month I replace the tape. This at least protects the most scratched area, and it's a cheap solution.

thank you for your reply. does the tape on the screen cause any damage to the screen that you are aware of?
