I dont want to get on the bad side of anybody. But dear god a bulletin board is for expressing opinions, and discussing matters with other people. well I admit my first post was a little off-tone, so i fixed it with the second one. But still for some reason the staff of this site decides it isnt acceptable here. Sigh, whatever, I dont care anymore. And I dont feel up to fighting for it. I just wanted to have a nice intelligent discussion. Apparently that isn't acceptable here. Stuff like talking to clinically insane fisherman over unethical patents is.

Whats your deal? James & Marcus took lots of time and money to setup this wonderful service and they clearly state that they do not want discussions of illegal activites on the discussion board. Period. I don't know if you noticed, but there are quite a few Palm software vendors that advertise on this site, which has translated into new functionaility featured on the site (new dicsussion board system, new sections on the site, more reviews, etc..) --- So if this discussion is allowed, the advertisers get pissed off and they pull their ads, take legal action against VisorCentral and who knows, it ultimately gets shutdown. Great idea.

I don't quite understand what you were trying to get out of the discussion in the first place? See who has warez so you can get additional warez and sites? Thats what it sounds like to me .. If I was you, I'd be happy that you are not banned from the site..

Heh. Im sorry I wished to actually discuss something on this board. If you wouldve taken the time to read my post you wouldve realized that I am very againt warez, and would like to stop it. And yes I know Marcus and James took a lot of time creating this site....but I dont feel trying to shut down a warez site could in anyway shut down this site.

One last thing, this board is so very hostile it isnt even funny. You constantly have to be fighting, argueing, flaming, and debating. Ever since waram has left the Moderators and Vets of this board have jumped down anyones throat the didnt aggree with. And you ask whats my deal?

I kind of have to agree with Marcus and the gang...I'm not sure WHAT there really is to talk about. Is there a certain aspect/philosophy/topic of Warez you want to discuss?

Just talking about Warez is sort of like talking about "where's a good place to score some weed?" ain't it?

Thank You homer, youre the first person on this board that didn't jump down my throat. And no not really, I just wanted to talk about something. The subject warez isnt really important I was just VERY suprpirised how hostlie this group is.

If someone would like to shut this topic down i wont mind, since you see, to enjoy it.

please check the VC Rules....

Warez are Illegal and will always be... simple as that...
VC is a respectable site and a discussion like this can threathen that... There are plenty of forums out there that do want yuo to discuss stuff like that, please respect the point of VC and discuss this item elsewhere....

also as a side-effect discussions like this will tend to run out of hand and people will start to post URL's (even if that's not allowed...) this will have to concequense that we will need to police all threads... nobody likes that... this is a public forum where we will not discuss illegal stuff... period.

P.s. I changed the Subject title off this thread since religous people have nothing to do with closing (warez) threads...

Personally, I don't agree with that. Looking back and your first post, "What is your thoughts on palm warez?" there is nothing regarding shutting down this particular site. Instead, it appears to be a promotion for trading of palm warez.

"warez .. pirated software available for free.."
"this url has a collection of palm warez..."
"this site has too many applications, all for free.."

Even after James closed the discussion, you decided to try to figure out who has warez connections in the "About the warez..." topic..

"Something else I wanted to discuss was who has or hasn't tried Palm warez." --- exactly what is there to discuss?

Finally you end that message with "I DO NOT WANT TO PROMOTE WAREZ" -- great .. post a URL to a site saying it has a ton of free illegal palm software, come back and post another topic regarding warez and finally this topic regarding warez.. yeah .. sounds like you don't wanna promote it to me.

PS -- As far as your attack on the moderators and vets, if you don't like what they are doing and you don't like the atmostphere of this board, then go somewhere else.. Again, I don't see where your coming from with that statement -- sure there is an occasional thread that gets out of hand, but given the amount of activity and discussion on this board, thats to be expected.
