I've been looking at the E&B Slipper case and the Rhodiana case. It looks to me like the Rhodiana case has two straps on the back which are meant to fit over your hand. Couldn't you just slip a shoelace or something through those straps and tie it around your neck? Then it wouldn't fall to the ground if you dropped it. Or maybe just fasten it around your wrist instead?

Could someone who has a Rhodiana case please comment?

An alternative I've come to love:

I found a cheap coat at Target ($20.00) that's sort of a cross between an overcoat and an Army fatigue top (part of the Cherokee collection -- don't laugh). It has large pockets, so I can put the phone in one and the Visor in another. The gadgets remain unseen, which cuts down on the geek factor a hundredfold. And I still have room for a couple of Springboards or a Stowaway keyboard. And the pockets have velcro flaps, so it's very secure -- no dropping.

Gameboy, I like your jacket idea since I work for Target.

If you really want to be geeky buy one of those photographer vests that seem to have an infinite number of oversize pockets. You could carry your Visor, keyboard and dozens of Springboard modules.

If you can wear jeans to work, just buy "carpenter" jeans or else Cargo pants, both having pockets in the side of the pants, perfect for holding cell phones, Visors, Springboards, etc. It allows for easy carrying of gadgets without the geek factor, not that I mind looking like a geek!

Man, with all the school shootings and whatnots, the EHolster is something that I do *not* want to wear to school, expecially under a jacket of some sort 8-).

I've always worn my visor in my breast pocket of a tech vest. It works well as long as you keep the pocket zipped up 8-). Cargo pants are also a great idea, missing that if you have a backpack you can go to the Mil. surplus store, pick up a pouch for a first aid kit, and sew it to the backpack strap...

The slipper Visor case has two cutouts at the bottom of the case... that would allow for a cord of some sort... don't think you would be able to sync in the case though.

Another alternative is to just fold the cover closed over a cord. The slipper has provided room at the top of the case for the oversized (future) springboards... Couldn't use the cord while actively using the Visor, but it would serve when not in use

Depending on your clothing "style" Dickies makes a pair of utility jeans with a built in thigh pocket on the right leg. They advertise it for a cell phone but my Visor fits perfectly into it for easy access. I usually put it in my back pocket, but I have to be careful when I sit down. The pocket on the thigh keeps it out of the way and doesn't let it bounce around like cargo pants.
