Question Trouble connecting to my cellphone

I have a Visor Deluxe and I am trying to dial-up using infa-red and my cellphone.

I was able to do it at one time because I installed Irenhanc which included AMX, LrLib, SerialIrPnl and SerIrCommLib, but this/ these programs caused problems with the Soft reset in that I could not reset my Visor without loosing all my data.

I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if there is a bit of software I can download so that I can use my infa-red port with my phone again.

Your help would be appreciated

Well, there are plenty of threads on how to do this, but the short of it is you only install SerIrCommLib from the IrEnhance package. The others will lock up the Visor. Then you need another program to let you switch the serial interface to the IR port. IrLink 1.5 does it, but there are free alternatives.

Thanks,

I was having trouble finding the threads (and I got bored looking), I will give that a go.

I already bought IR Link and that seemed to work well.

Thanks again, I only just found this site and it seems really usefull, in the words of a famous Austrian "I'll be back" ;-)
