Replace Buttonboard

Looks like the buttonboard on my Prixm is really shot. Fixed it once, but the fix turned out to be temporary. I have a Deluxe. Can I swap out that button board and put it in the Prism? If so, will I still be able to charge the battery in the cradle? Sync from the cradle?

Any help will be appreciated.

you'll have to get a new button board for the Prism, since the power button is on the opposite side compared to the Deluxe.

Buy one at www.gethightech.com.

Thanks for the info. Now looks like it's not just the button board---might be the motheroard. I'll check the websites mentioned, but changing a motherboard is probably well beyond my abilities.

not really. you can order a motherboard from gethightech.com too. i believe they even offer instructional videos to guide you in the process. but it's pretty simple. just carefully disconnect the LCD ribbon cable, pop out the old MB, pop in the new MB, reattach the LCD cable and button board. put it back together, and you should be up and running.
