I'm considering the purchase of a keyboard and modem for my Visor. I've heard of compatability problems with some modem/keyboard combinations. I'm thinking of getting the Targus keyboard and the Thinmodem. does anyone know if these work together?

Thanks

The conflict is when trying to use IR and the sync connector. Since your combo would use the sync connector and the springboard, you'll be all set. For more details, see this thread.

I currently use the ThinModem with the Stowaway. The combination of the two make a great desktop combination. You can receive and type responses to emails while connected. I suggest you get the 4 inch female connector for the modem from CardAccess in addition to the 6 foot male connector that comes with the ThinModem. You can then disconnect a male end from the table top phone and plug in without have to excavate for the wall plug.

I believe that ThinModem+ will be coming out in mid February if you can wait, and you want the K56, a new email and browser included, and a little more memory storage.

You cannot use the Stowaway at the same time you are connected to a cable from NYSEBULL http://www.cables4pdas.com because of the HotSync port only supports one use at a time.

Talking

I have this combo and it works great. Just make sure you get the latest updates from both manufacturers sites, and you should be golden.
