Unhappy

My win zip is going crazy. At first it tried to open zipped files in print shop (.prc & pdb) I deleted PS and reinstalled win zip. When I try to open these files, I get a message that there is no viewer and I should open a default view which gets me nowhere. Please Help with step by step info.
Thanks
dabirk

that doesn't sound like a winzip problem. i'm assuming that what you're doing is double clicking on the zipped file and it's opening the incorrect program.

it sounds like windows has associated the .zip extension with the wrong software. you need to go into windows explorer and fix this.

in win98, you'd go into explorer, click on view==>folder options and then the "file types" tab at the top. than find the zip extension and associate it with winzip.

dabirk, I thought you meant that once the zip file is open in WinZip, double-clicking a file inside the archive sent it to PrintShop.

If that's the case, do what mensachicken suggests except associate .pdb and .prc files with "Install Tool".

Good luck!
