Help - No LED on first charge

Does anyone know if it takes a while for the LED to come on or what? I plugged it in for the first charge and no LED light has come on as indicated in the manual.

I'm begining to wonder if the DC adaptor is bad, as it's not even getting warm........and I triple checked that power is going to the outlet.

Also, does the USB cable have to be plugged into the USB port on the PC for charging?

Thanks!

I can tell you that you do not need to plug in the USB cradle into the USB port to charge. I was charging my Prism on vacation without a PC.

Hey - I had the same problem with mine. I called Customer support and they told me to reset it and try again. That did the trick.

You had the Edge for a maybe a whole day and you gave up that quick? Maybe you really weren't excited about the Edge in the first place to not even try it out for a little while (I'm sure you could have swapped out the cradle or charger cable).

Sorry, you misunderstood....I switched it out for another Visor Edge. It turns out the first one was bad. When we took the 2nd one out of the box and put it on the charger the LED came on instantly.
