Unhappy

Not sure if you can help but I will give it a try. I cannot hotsync my visor to my Japanese Windows 98 Compaq Presario computer. I have tried both USB and Serial and it will connect ask me my password start to hotsync my mail and then my computer will give me an error message saying that it cannot continue and that I should contact the manufacturer. Then the Visor says "the connection between your handheld computer and the desktop was lost....." Any ideas?

I will try to navigate some of the other solutions that have been posted. Can someone explain to me how to check BIOS and see if the USB is working properly. Thanks.

Exclamation

I figured out that I can sync everything but mail. I am using outlook express 5.0 English version. My computer crashes when this is done and then the hot sync manager closes and I get an error message on the visor that says it cannot make a connection. None of the other areas will sync if mail is set to sync.

Any ideas!
