Does the Pro have a NOTEPAD???

I am considering buying the Visor Pro, but one feature I am not sure it has is the NOTEPAD (like the Palm Pilots have). I like writing in my own handwriting and saving those notes as my own scribbling, as opposed to having them converted to text. This is very useful, as I am an architect, and often scribble down drawings of potential buildings.

Does anyone know if Visor Pro has this?

While there is no notepad built-in on the Pro, there are a number of programs that provide the same functionality as the Palm notepad. Here are some possibilities:

DiddleBug
DiddleBug Beta
BugMe! and BugMe! Messenger

Dissapointing that the PRO does not have a built-in notepad (seems rather elementary to have one, no?)

Is there any other Handspring model that does have one?

I believe that none of them have this feature since it is part of Palm OS 4 and they do not run it.

You'll find that diddlebug is a very good replacement-simple, fast, customizeable, easy to send data to other apps via "intelliboogers", and *free*

...the only things that notepad has on it is that it allows for your scrawling to go beyond the standard 160x160 screen and it has an index view with thumbnails of your drawings, IIRC. Really, though, at this size, thumbnails are pretty useless...

If you have a palm device, download it and see if it fits your needs, if so, then accept or reject Handspring's products on the basis of something more substantial....

When you mentioned the scrolling space and thumbnails, were you referring to DiddleBug or the Palm Pilot's Notepad?
