$30 rebate on the Thinmodem!

I just found out that the old Thinmodem (www.thinmodem.com) now has a $30 mail in rebate! it's now only like $89!! YEAH!! the rebate is at http://www.cardaccess-inc.com/rebate.pdf

IOt's valid for all internet or retail thinmodems bought from 7/15 to like october! YEAH!

i wish the $89 after MIR price was for the thinmodem plus, the one with 8 mb flash mem on board. $89 for just the modem is still a bit much ...

Only good for "participating" retailers

Before everyone gets too excited, I printed out the rebate form and the fine print states "Rebate applies to Card Access Thinmodem Springboard Module purchased in any participating online or retail stores*." where *=CompUSA, Fry's, J&R, RCS, Staples, Amazon.com, Cardaccess-inc.com, or Widget.com. Read the fine print!

I actually found it on PCNomad.com for $89.99 at the following weblink: http://www.pcnomad.com/detail.php?productID=324. Unfortunately, the rebate does not apply to this retailer which would make it a really sweet deal at $59.99.
