I'm new here, and maybe you've discussed this already, but can anyone tell me what the deal is with the Visor backlight? My wife has a Palm V (which I understand uses the same LCD display as the Visor) with a very bright backlight. The backlight on the Visor is all but useless. Is there a software fix available? Any info is appreciated.

Try inverting it. Bring up the find box then n the graphiti area make the shortcut symbol tap twice and draw a 7 in the number part of the graphiti area, so that it get entered like this (shortcut character).7 and that should do it. If it works you will get a confirmation and you can just enter it again to change it back to normal.

The Visor does you the same display technology as the Palm V, but not actually the same display. Alas, the dim back light is a known complaint about the Visor. Not much can be done about it.
[Short Cut] . 7 is for changing the battery type. [Short Cut] . 8 is for activating the invert back light, but alas it does not work on the Visor.

Possible Problem With Greenlight

I could have sworn I read in another thread that greenlight caused some kind of hang-up with somebody's Visor.
