1 8M Flash Module
1 Magellan GPS Companion

Thinking hard about the 16M Flash Module but would prefer a multipurpose springboard (e.g. SixPack).

About two days. Actually, I wanted to know, but didn't want to seem nosey. The number alone is useful data. Helps a springboard developer get a feel for how much money Visor owners will continue to spend after getting a Visor.

I've concluded Handspring and Springboard company stock owners shouldn't sell. The price of their stocks is gonna go up.

What a refreshing point of view - it's been a while since anyone started a real ripsnorter of a "Springboard is dead" thread, and I think that people are starting to percieve a little bit more value in some of the pricier modules out there, especially the Minstrel S. The eyemodule 2 looks like it's shaping up to be a real success, and with the Matchbook drive + FA Filemover for just $47 (shipping included) we're starting to see just how powerful some of the simpler (but cheaper) uses of the springboard slot can be.

To stay on topic, my Matchbook Drive just arrived today, bring my module count up to 4.

I made a wood duplicate of my Visor "filler" springboard slot cover. Used a small chunk of rosewood.

It doesn't "do" anything, but it sure looks great on my platinum.

It's one of those things a bored woodworker would do. I was bored.

yes, we owned a betamax machine way back, but....i dunno, it just never took off. that is usually the case with things proprietary. the fact that the next generation palm devices are standardizing on SD cards doesn't help either. do you know what i mean? i don't want to even feel enslaved by the handspring platform. i guess i am technologically claustrophobic.
