My father is trying to hot-sync a VDX to his iMac. The sync seems to run, and returns no error, but no data is transferred to the Palm Desktop.

I'm a Win95/Palm Desktop user, and unfamiliar with the iMac. Does anyone have ideas where to begin to troubleshoot/fix this problem. Any tricks that I need to know?

Thanks!

In the macfinder search for user data
it should give you 2-3 files open either all of them that are in the palm folder
that should do it

Mostl likely the conduits are not enabled..

For some reason, the conduits for address book etc are probably turned off.
If the Palm Instant Desktop is visible on the upper right hand corner, click >Hotsync (User Name)>Conduit Settings
This will give you access to each of the conduits and allow you to check them.
Let us know.
