Unhappy Prism Beat Up!

I need a new case for my Prism..the actual blue prism case..after all the abuse / mods, etc , its just plain beat up. I know of that one site (I can't remember the name) but they don't seem to sell cases for prisms, just delux and palms.

does anyone know where i can find these parts for the prism? I would really love a new case free of those anoying stress cracks, scratches, and dings

thanks.

Depending on how you plan on using your case, I would recommend the armor box by OtterBox

Great company that stands behind its products with a lifetime guarantee!

Unhappy

I think he means a new body for his prism....I've looked all over for clear (or otherwise) replacement prism parts, even on Japanese and Chinese sites, emailed all those people, etc. and noone has replacement parts. Not even clear buttons. If anyone has the ability to make it, they could make some money b/c I know of several prism owners who would be interested.

Tell you what... if my Visa Purchase Protection covers a replacement for my dropped Prism, I'll consider selling the old one for parts!

I'll let you know in a couple of days.

Oops... no go. Apparently, if my Prism had been stolen, vandalized, or damaged due to "accidental water leakage" it would be covered. But dropping it on the kitchen floor isn't. Maybe if I drop it in the toilet....

Guess I'll be sending it back to Handspring.

Has anyone tried to use a resin or polymer casting kit to fabricate a new casing?

I know it would take some work to remake the threaded holes, and other details, but if you only need a few, it might work.
