The other day I just picked up my first cell phone. Although it isn't top of the line, it is a pretty decent phone (Nokia 282). I signed a typical contract where I pay for the wireless service and the phone is free (1 penny). It seems that with the palm VII charging customers $50 a month for connection, that in the future we will be able to sign up for the wireless service, and the PDA will be free.
