Lightbulb

First, thanks to the VisorCentral guys for setting up this great site. I've appreciated being able to read comments and stories about Handspring and the Visor, and am, as a result, awaiting the arrival of my Graphite Visor (ordered 10.14).

I was wondering if it would be feasible to set up a rating type system with a few simple graphs. I've found it a little difficult to get a good idea of the percentages of happy/unhappy customers who are fortunate enough to have a Visor in their grubby little hands :-). Unhappy people tend to be more loud than happy ones, so they stand out more.

I know you guys have put a lot of effort into this site and board, and am not complaining or whining. I'm just suggesting the implementation of a more formal rating system of some sort, on a scale of 1-5 or 1-10, with total responses received. It seems that there could be some interesting items to rate about the Visor, like:
- overall impression of the product
- color preferences
- screen clarity/sharpness
- stylus feel/usability
... and many others, I'm sure.

Again, guys -- thanks for the work you're doing with this site!

Exclamation

The user review section is almost ready to go online...

Some more bug testing and user interface improvements are still left, but we plan on going live with it this coming weekend.

MTN, you have a good list of iteams to rate.. I will incorporate them into the design. Any other categories that you would like to rate concerning the PDAs?

What about Springboards? What would you be able to rate (size, weight, cost, usability etc..)

Accessories and software needs some extensive rating category lists too...

Please provide me with some input on what you want to be able to grade in each product category (PDA, springboard, accessories, and software).

Marcus,
Be careful, if it doesn't work like everyone thinks it should people will start flaming you. and then the next thing we know, Visor Central will be going up in Flames.

Good Job Marcus and the rest of the VC Staff

Keep you sense of humor
