Unhappy

I think I was. As you can perhaps tell from my question, I'm less than a techie. I understood that the standard Visor cradle required USB support. My computer has a USB port, and I asked our systems people, and they assured me that my computer supports USB, and I even tracked down a USB device, and the computer seemed to detect it. However, it runs Windows95. Thinking that the only compatability issue was USB, I went ahead and ordered Prism with a USB cradle.

Well, I tried to install the Desktop, and it says I have a Win95 machine, and will only install with serial support, so the USB cradle is useless. So, is there anything I can do other than upgrade to Win98 or buy another cradle? I fear I know the answer. Thanks for any advice.

Win95 only partially supports USB. The Visor USB cradle will not work with Win95.

Your options are upgrade to Win98 (or 2k or Me) or use a serial cradle.
