Hey gang, I just received my E&B Slipper, and I actually like it better than the Vaja. The leather isn't as nice, but I love how thin it is and can be slipped into my pocket without a bulge! Anyway, thanks for recommendations from others here on that. By the way, I'm now auctioning my Vaja and Handspring custom zipper case if anyone's interested. Oh yeah, and the HS modem springboard. Check them out here:

DaveyDave,

Wondering if you (or anybody else) could comment on the velcro issue. I need to get a case, and the E&B Slipper sounds like everything I am looking for EXCEPT for the velcro closure. I really dread that ripping sound in the middle of a meeting. Thanks.

Actually, the velcro doesn't bother me. I usually don't like velcro either, but on the Slipper, it has just enough to hold down the cover, so when you flip it up, you can't really hear it.

I jusy got my E&B slipper case from Visorcentral. I thought I am getting the one with clip but ended up with one without the clip. I was misled by the link of the review from visorcentral(with Clip) when I ordered the slipper case.

The overall impression of the case is quite good as I was able to hotsyn with the slipper case on. The plastic covering the buttons are not really nice to use. I would prefer a cut out for the button made of leather rather than plastic. There are no hole for reset pin at the back as oppose to some posting saying there are hole for reset for newer case. Maybe I got the old stock. I am seriously thinking of punching a hole for the reset as it is quite difficult to remove the visor from the case.

Back to the velcro issue. The velcro on the slipper case is the worst quality velcro I have come across. It does not hold the flip down unless you align them properly and push the 2 side down hard. They are like those worn out velcro although I Just got it this week. Maybe it is just what you need as you won't get those annoying tearing sound whenever you open the flip with those velcro of E&B Slipper case.
