This may be a very stupid question, but I am having trouble syncing up my addresses and memos with the desktop. I just bought the Visor a few days ago and cant find anything in the manual to help.

I am using Outlook Express, but all my options in the desktop software say Outlook. Is this the problem? I am able to install software fine, but the data is not being communicated between the Visor and desktop. Any advice?

Lightbulb

Your Visor can only sync with Outlook 2000 or your Palm Desktop, you cannot sync with Outlook Express. You probably synced your Visor with Outlook 2000 instead of Your Palm Desktop when you installed your Hotsync program. Try uninstalling your Palm Desktop and Hotsync, then reboot your computer. Then try reinstalling your Palm Desktop with your Handspring CD you recieved with your Visor, when it asks you if you want to sync with Outlook 2000 or Palm Desktop, choose Palm Desktop, then proceed on with your install. That should let you sync your memos and contacts with your visor. Good Luck....be sure and back up all your contacts that you have with Microsoft Excel, you can import those contacts into your Palm Desktop after you get done loading it on to your PC.

Thanks, Darwin. That was it exactly! I didnt realize I had to make an either/or choice between Outlook and Palm Desktop. When I reinstalled with the correct setting it worked like a charm. Thanks again.
