So where do I get TrueSync? I tried searching at Yahoo and couldn't seem to find it (but then it's been a rather long weekend)...

It's not just Yahoo. Excite also supports TrueSync and I wouldn't be surprised if there's something else out there too.

I'd be interested in your experiences with TrueSync. I use it with Outlook on my home PC but do not use it to sync to my Visor. I found it wants far too much control of the Visor synch setup, and reworks the conduits to suit itself. So, I prefer two use a two step process... Sync Outlook/Visor then sync Outlook/Excite. A bit more hassle, but I feel I get more control over the synching process.

P.S. I don't see how Backup Buddy could cause instability of the Visor directly. It does alter the synch process, but it does NOT install any of its own software on the Visor.

Thumbs up

The Visor is still a great bargain and probably always will be, if for no other reason than the people behind it. Think about it. The brains left 3COM (who is now dumping Palm which may or may not be wise but that's another topic) and started their own business. They have the know how and a license and they are freed up to innovate again.

On top of that it really is:
a lot less expensive;
has the expension slot;
has better built in apps (date+, calc+);
and there was the 30 day try before you buy.

I love it and am glad I went with the Visor. I had been considering the Palm V or Vx or a TRG or VTech. In the end, when I did all the math, the Visor Deluxe was the best. Personally I don't think the low memory version is worth the price difference since for a little more I get 4x more memory built in, not taking up a Springboard slot.

Cheers and best wishes with what ever you do,
