I downloaded some apps yesterday, pocket general and some linux howto's. When I tried to switch to my "unfiled" folder to sort them out it lists out some of the icons then says "Fatal error: Fatal exception"

The crash occurs when I'm using handscape as well as when I use the standard palmos app chooser. It also happens if I scroll through the "all" category.

So, what do I do to fix this thing? I don't have backup buddy or a backup module that I've seen talked about on this site.

Thank you!

What is probably going on is that one of the application files that you downloaded to your Visor is corrupt. When the launcher tries to display the icon in the application file, the crash occurs. At least you can get to the launcher. I once had one, but it crashed as soon as I opened the launcher. Anyway, hopefully you can still do a Menu, App, Delete... and remove the errant application. Might try a Menu, App, Category... to see what is in the unfiled first.

Cool

thanks potter! I was trying to delete the apps that I added but I added a whole bunch (like 10) so it was hard to narrow down which one was causing the problem. Finally I deleted one and it stopped happening.

Man, that's messed up... how come the whole thing crashes when it's just trying to show an Icon... bad programming I guess!
