I figured out how to make new short cuts in the preference section of my visor, but how do I use those short cuts. Any special strokes or keys I need to use.

Use shortcuts by making a grafitti stroke that looks like a cursive, lower-case 'L', followed by the shortcut. Use anywhere you use grafitti to input text.
