Is it at all possible to convert .LIT (MS Reader Format) into a format that's readable on the Palm OS?

I've seen a few great books which are only available in .LIT format. Is this at all possible?

Any help would be great!

I haven't seen anything that converts .LIT format to a PalmOS format... and since it's a Microsoft proprietary format, I doubt we will (at least not from them ).

Is there any way of converting a .LIT file into any other formats? What I mean is, is it possible to open a LIT file in Microsoft Word and then convert it to any other format?

I'm looking for ANY possible way to read these few eBooks I have, in .LIT format, on my VDX.

Thanks!

I seriously doubt you'll find any way to convert .LIT to any other format. As far as I know, security is a big part of the .LIT format in order to prevent duplication by any means.

There is a conversion method for Windows users, but it's only for un-encrypted documents, and takes a bit of work. Good luck with it, though, if you try it. It's at: http://tecnodude.tripod.com/index.html

Wow... It really is a bit of a long process... I will try to see if it works. The eBooks I want to convert are free downloads, so I don't have any worries about copyrights... I just want to be able to read it on my VDX.

Thanks for the link!

Any other suggestions are welcome!
