Question

I was thinking if you have a parralel/USB port springboard you would be able to control all kinds of things using that port..

like printers, webcams, mice etc...

You could control a mouse? That would be fun watching it move around the table.

Seriously though, RS-232/422/485 would be nice too.

mabe it should have a serial port too so you can connect it to your modem....

That way you can avoid buying the modem springboard....

This would also be nice for robotics hobbiests who could just use the visor as an onboard control for their beast. Possibly even use the IR for remote commands.
