Unhappy OmniSky

I dropped YadaYada and switched over to OmniSky yesterday. After installing their SW, I have the OmniSKy browser, OS Mail and ScoutSync on my Platinum. I only use Blazer 2.0 and Eudora Internet Suite for browsing and emailing, thus I want to remove the OmniSky browser, OS Mail and ScoutSync.
However, as soon as I insert my Minstrel S into the slot, I have to re-install those files again!!! Have anyone been successfully removing those 3 files and still can connect to the wireless net with OmniSky (the OmniSky support person said that I can NOT delete those applications). Any feedback is appreciated.

Re: OmniSky

After you delete the OmniSky apps and insert the Minstrel S, it tells you that you do not have the OmniSky installed on your handspring. Do not hit the button to install the apps. Just hit the home (silkscreen) button and it will not install the apps. You should able to run the Blazer and Eudora and so forth. If you need to run the OmniSky apps, it is already on the flash memory of the Minstrel modem.
