Question HotSync EDGE via InfraRed on Laptop?

Hi Everyone,

I know this is possible, however, I am trying to figure out how to do it. I have done mulitple searches on this forum but I am still confused.

I have done the infrared sync before on my old Visor Deluxe and old laptop, however, that was with OS 3.1. Now that I have the edge, It has OS 3.5. The question is, what software do I need to download on my laptop and what do I need to downlaod on my edge to make them talk to each other?

I am running windows 2000 w/ Handspring's Palm Desktop 3.10HB. I do not have an "infrared" icon in control panel, so I'm guessing I have to download the IRDA driver?

Can someone please point me in the right direction for IR Syncing between a Wk2 Laptop and the Visor Edge?

Thank you so much in advance!

Nevermind, I figured it out. I had to install Handspring's Palm Desktop (4.0.1) and set it up for IR sync.

OS 3.5 on the edge already has IR sync capability.
