Question How do I delete a third party conduit?

I have some third-party applications on my VPL that have conduits. I don't use some of these apps anymore and would like to delete their respective conduits so I don't sync with their "ghost" counterparts anymore. How do I do this?

You should have a conduits folder in your Palm folder. Find that, find the conduit (hopefully named appropriately), delete.

(That should work, anyway.)

If not...

Go to H.M.Martins' site and hit the downloads page to get the Currency conduit...I once found a (Java?) CondCfg.exe in there which lets you alter the "priorities" of conduits, and lets you delete them as well. Here's the direct link to the conduit, but you might want to check out the downloads page anyway...

BTW, Currency is the best - AND FREE - currency converter in the world. Coupled with daily updates, and it's own conduit, you can't have it any better than that...

Hope this helps.

Befor trying to go down the paths mentioned by PastaGrrl or Yorick, try the simple first. Check to see if there is an uninstaller on your box. Assuming you are on a Windows box, check:

Start / Programs / What ever the program in question is called / Uninstall

or

Start / Settings / Control Panel / Add/Remove Programs / What ever the program in question is called.

once i downloaded somthing called 'palm project' and it had a conduit. i never used the app because i diddnt understand it. so i went to my palm folder, and deleted one of the system icons called 'pprjcond.dll' and it removed the conduit because that is the shortened name for palm project conduit.
