Question

In anticipation of the arrival of my visor, I have been contemplating the best method for complete transfer of my Palm files to Visor. Back-up-buddy does not recognize a few of my essential programs that will need to be transfered intact. Any suggestions??

BackupBuddy should back up everything you have. If it doesn't then beam what is left. If you have databases, use BeamBox to beam hacks, dbs, etc.

Question

Many of my medicaly related and registered programs are not backup up buddy compatible and are unavailable to beam with beam box. There must be an application that truly reduplicates every file on your palm.

pilot-link can be used to backup and restore (as well as a ton of other things) an entire Palm. Linux version can be found in newer distributions. A Win32 port is out there with a gui, but I cannot find it right now.

I bought this program called Pilot back Up two years ago and it's served me well ever since.
It backs up EVERYTHING, at least as far as i could tell from restoring my data/program flawlessly from the pro to the III and then IIIx.
It was made by Killer Bee productions if that helps. I'll look up their web site tonight.
