hotsync manager won't start

When I try and start my hotsync manger i get two errors:

"Advantage local server error! Initializing the advantage local server failed. The error that caused the initialization failure was advantage error code: 7032"

Then: "advantage client engine local connect failed"

I have reinstalled the palm desktop software.
