Question Has Anyone actually won a Visor from Handspring?

As I was perusing the handspring website. Whilst look at my Youre a looser, try again Coke bottle cap, and tearing off my You win nothing McDonalds Monopoly stickers. I wondered has anyone ever actually won one of those Visors they taunt you with when you subscribe to the email newsletter?

Just pondering how much fun my last life must have been to have Karma this bad.

I blew my karma wad when I was 9, winning a dirtbike from McDonalds (a local, not a national, promo). It was bad: the front forks were, I kid you not, SOLID metal. You could've put this thing into a trash compactor and it would come out with nary a scratch.

I've won bupkiss since.

I've won a billion things. I won a digital camera, a tv (they sent a check instead), and a stylus from VC. I am amazing.

I won two Palm games, a PDA accessory pack, and T-Shirt from coming in as runner-up in PDABuzz.com's photo contest.

I wish I won the top prize, the iPaq. Still, it's nice to win something finally!

Lets just say if I see erineba1 on 20/20 for some elaborate prize winning scam, I will not be surprised.

Last thing I won was a Palm V, which I sold for $200, besides that...Nothing. How about some of you rich VisorCentral members (Yeah, you know who you are Mr. HaveEverySpringboard!) donate to us less fortunate?

Well, I really tried. The place where I won the TV and camera (yes, I won two seperate things off of one site) was advertain.com . The idea was that it makes you go to websites and "rate" them on a scale from one two ten and then write a comment about the website. For every website you rate, you get points. Each point is worth a chance in a drawing which is pretty much every day. So I rated EVERY SITE that I could, and won a TV, and months later, I got a letter in the mail saying they couldn't find a TV, here's a check for $250 dollars. Then, I rated all the sites AGAIN and won a Nikon Coolpix 800, good camera, which eventually came. After that, I stopped going to the site. I looked at it recently, to see if it suvived, and the site was still up, but it didn't look like anyone updated, and it didn't do the drawings anymore.

Anyone who thinks your more likely to be struck by lightning than win anything, see my post in this thread.
